Bengaluru Bulls raider Pardeep Narwal scripted history by becoming the first player to reach 1800 raid points in PKL history. Popularly known as the “Dubki King”, Pardeep achieved an incredible milestone against UP Yoddhas in Pro Kabaddi Season 11. Earlier in the season, Bengaluru Bulls’ star raider became the first player to cross 1700 raid points in the league. Pardeep has currently amassed 1801 raid points in 190 matches.
Haryana Steelers all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui etched his name in history books by becoming the fastest player to reach 300 tackle points in the Pro Kabaddi League. The left-corner defender took just 76 matches to reach the landmark. Nicknamed the “Showstopper”, Shadloui surpassed the previous record held by his compatriot Fazel Atrachali, who achieved the 300-point milestone in 100 games.
U Mumba’s Sunil Kumar became the most successful captain in Pro Kabaddi history after his side registered a 43-29 victory over Puneri Paltan at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. After registering 74 wins as captain, Sunil Kumar surpassed Fazel Atrachali’s record for most wins as captain in Pro Kabaddi. Having guided U Mumba to PKL playoffs after three seasons, Sunil has recorded 77 wins as captain in PKL.
Patna Pirates’ rising star Ayan Lohchab hogged the spotlight in Season 11 as he broke the record for the most raid points by a debutant in a season. The left raider produced consistent performances as he wrapped up the season with 184 raid points in 25 matches, including 7 Super 10s and 4 Super Raids. The youngster also contributed with 9 tackle points and 1 Super Tackle. Ayan earned the New Young Player award in Season 11 for his brilliant debut campaign.
Dabang Delhi K.C. created a new record for the longest unbeaten streak in Pro Kabaddi history. Led by their star raiders Ashu Malik and Naveen Kumar, Dabang Delhi K.C. were one of the most dominant teams in Season 11 as they scripted an incredible 15-match unbeaten streak. Dabang Delhi K.C. surpassed Puneri Paltan’s previous record (14 matches), capped by a 45-31 win over Gujarat Giants. However, Delhi’s brilliant run later came to an end with a disappointing 28-32 defeat against Patna Pirates in the PKL Season 11 semi-finals.
