Iranian all-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui cemented his legacy as one of the Pro Kabaddi League’s greatest overseas players after clinching consecutive titles.

Popularly known as the ‘Showstopper’, Shadloui once again demonstrated his all-round capabilities in Pro Kabaddi Season 11 as he guided Haryana Steelers to their maiden title. Shadloui earlier won his first-ever PKL title with Puneri Paltan in Pro Kabaddi Season 10.

In the recently concluded season, the 24-year-old played a pivotal role as the Steelers emerged as the Season 11 champions with his consistent performances on both ends of the mat.

Shadloui accumulated 82 tackle points across 24 matches, including four Super Tackles and five High 5s. Apart from his defensive prowess on the mat. He also contributed 57 raid points to wrap up the season with an impressive 139 total points.

Having showcased his credentials both in attack and defence, Shadloui earned the well-deserved title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) for PKL Season 11.

Previously in Season 10, Shadloui took PKL by storm as he registered 99 tackle points and 27 raid points to guide his former side, Puneri Paltan, to their maiden league title.

Since making his brilliant Pro Kabaddi debut for Patna Pirates in Season 8 as runners-up, the Iranian star has quickly established himself as one of the top foreign players who have left a lasting impact on the league.

Talking about his personal accolades, Shadloui has already won the Best Defender of the Season award twice in Season 8 and Season 10.

With two titles from three finals in four seasons, the defensive powerhouse has further solidified his legacy in the Pro Kabaddi League.
