Anup is one of my favourite players

The grand finale beckons and the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League features the best of the tournament, what I would like to call the 'Demolition Men'. The expectations are high and the final should be an exhibition of high quality talent. The league has clearly been a good mentor for young talent.

It is refreshing to see the teams play with spirit and gusto. Some great talent has also come up, like Ajay Thakur and Anup Kumar. Anup is more confident of his abilities. And trust the Mumbai crowd to support him with a roar. He is also one my favorite kabaddi players, so I know that if he wins I will genuinely be happy for him. Ajay Thakur is a world-class raider but most importantly he is a team player. There is no doubting his immense natural talent. He is a tremendously fast which puts fear into the most accomplished defence. His attacking skills and ability to take on and beat opponents is a joy to watch.

Patna Pirates playing style and aggression will add another layer to the drama in the finals.

The players playing on the field are very gifted. Fans will enjoy a rare evening where the intensity is going to be at the peak. It could create a situation where the fans end up cheering for everybody in the match, which would create a very unique atmosphere.

Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League has been an excellent stage for everyone to showcase their talent. The kind of media and public involvement it has received will help kabaddi gain a brighter future and motivate kids to take up kabaddi.
