Day 2 of the Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023 in Busan, Korea saw five matches being played.

Iran were on top of their game right from the word go and claimed a one-sided 60-31 win over Hong Kong in the first match of the day.

In the second match, Japan continued their winning run as they walked off with a 45-18 victory against the hosts, Korea.

In the third match, Chinese Taipei clinched their first win of the tournament convincingly over Hong Kong by a 117-12 margin.

India started the match on a positive note and didn't allow the Japanese team to stand a chance. They inflicted an All-Out in the fourth minute. Japan opened their account in the eighth minute with the help of a bonus point; however, the raider fell prey to the Indian defenders, conceding another All-Out. Japan struggled to add points to their credit, and India produced their third All-Out in the 14th minute. At the end of the first half, India were ahead by 26 points, with the score reading 32-6.

The Indian team continued their dominance in the second half with another All-Out in the fourth minute. The Indian defenders allowed the Japanese raider to complete a Super Raid in the seventh minute. India went past the 50-point mark by inflicting another All-Out with eight minutes left in the game. With less than two minutes remaining, Sachin helped India earn another All-Out. The Japanese raider produced a 3-point raid in the last raid for his side, but it was too little, too late as India sealed the game with a 62-17 scoreline.

To wrap things up on Day 2, Iran beat Korea with a scoreline of 72-17 to make it three wins in a row in their Asian Kabaddi Championship campaign.
