Day 4 started with Indian Railways eliminating Tamil Nadu 44-26 to progress through the semi-finals. Goa then marginally defeated Uttar Pradesh 38-41 in a hard-fought battle to set up a clash with the defending champions.
The next match saw Haryana overpowering heavyweights Services 28-48 followed up with Maharashtra edging past a gritty Chandigarh 21-39 to advance further.
In the first semi-final, Haryana rode upon the raiding duo of Meetu & Mohit Goyat to gain a quick lead over the Aslam Inamdar-led Maharashtra. However, the latter fired back as Maharashtra gained a 5-point lead in the first half by 11-16. They maintained their lead with a Super 10 from Akash Shinde and a High 5 from Kiran Laxman. The winners of the 65th edition went on to win the match by a margin of 27-33 against the home team.
The second semi-final saw Indian Railways securing an early lead and were 36-13 at halftime. While Shrikant Jadhav with 7 points was Goa's top scorer, they couldn't make a comeback as Pawan Sehrawat with 14 points made sure that the defending champions kept an upper hand. As Indian Railways looked to secure another crown after winning 43-20, their final encounter against Maharashtra looked evenly balanced.
Indian Railways won the final showdown outperforming Maharashtra 38-21. Pawan Sehrawat with 9 raid points made sure the defending champions held a firm grip throughout the game. They blunted Maharashtra's attack with a total of 13 tackle points and assured another winner's trophy to add to the previous three titles.
