‘Ashish executed his plan on the last raid brilliantly,' says Haryana Steelers' captain Jaideep Dahiya after gripping win vs Delhi

Haryana Steelers pulled off a dramatic win against Dabang Delhi K.C. in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 on Sunday. Ashish effected an ingenious raid on the last raid of the night to help the Steelers clinch a 35-33 victory. Speaking about the team's performance, Haryana Steelers' captain Jaideep Dahiya said, "I told the players to play confidently and not be nervous when the match got close in the end. We had the belief that we would win the game. All the players kept working towards the victory throughout the game. Ashish executed his plan on the last raid brilliantly and won the game for us."

Meanwhile, the Haryana Steelers' head coach Manpreet Singh said, "Both sides played very well. Our team played well against Naveen and our raiders also played according to our strategies. I am really happy with the way the team is playing this season. They are implementing all the skills they honed during our pre-season camp."

Haryana Steelers will be up against Puneri Paltan in their next match in Pune on 15 December 2023. Speaking about their next encounter, the captain said, "Puneri Paltan have a really good team. They have a strong raider group in Aslam Mustafa and Pankaj Mohite among others. They have good defenders as well. We'll devise a plan for them and we'll have to ensure that our plan is executed properly."
