With that in mind, here’s a look at the most expensive all-rounders to emerge from the Pro Kabaddi Season 11 Player Auction.

Mohammadreza Chiyaneh | Haryana Steelers | INR 2.07 crores

The second most expensive player at the Season 11 Player Auction, Iranian powerhouse Mohammadreza Chiyaneh was bought by the Haryana Steelers for INR 2.07 crores. A crucial part of Puneri Paltan’s title-winning team last season, Chiyaneh notched up 27 raid points and 99 tackle points - the most by any player in the previous campaign. Chiyaneh also topped the tackle points (89) charts in Season 8 and was second on the leaderboard with 84 tackle points in Season 9. Expect him to be among the top in both tackle and raid points once again in the upcoming campaign.

Pawan Sehrawat | Telugu Titans | INR 1.725 crores

Third on the all-time charts for the most raid points (1,189) in PKL history, Hi-Flyer Pawan Sehrawat was always going to attract a big bid, and in the end, it was the Telugu Titans who secured his services after exercising their Final Bid Match (FBM) card for INR 1.725 crores. Despite playing in an underwhelming Titans team last season, Pawan still scored 202 raid points - the third most in the league. The Season 6 MVP, Pawan is robust in his tackling as well and has managed 65 tackle points in the league.

Bharat | UP Yoddhas | INR 1.30 crores

After three campaigns with Bengaluru Bulls that saw him accumulate 497 raid points and 23 tackle points, Bharat was subject to a big bid at the Season 11 Player Auction and was bought by UP Yoddhas for INR 1.30 crores. A talented player who is effective on both ends of the mat, Season 9 was Bharat’s best PKL campaign yet after he finished second on the leaderboard for most raid points (279). Season 10 saw Bharat score 103 raid points for the Bulls but he will be eager to return to his best and shine in UP Yoddhas’ colours in the upcoming campaign.

Gurdeep | Patna Pirates | INR 59 lacs

Patna Pirates spent INR 59 lacs at the Season 11 Player Auction to purchase all-rounder Gurdeep, who made his debut and spent the last four seasons with UP Yoddhas. A formidable presence who is strong at tackling, Gurdeep has amassed 85 tackle points and two raid points in his PKL career so far. Gurdeep Is expected to play a big role for the three-time PKL champions in the upcoming season and he will be eager to take his game to the next level with the Pirates.

Ashish | Dabang Delhi K.C. | INR 23.50 lacs

Perhaps one of the smartest buys of the Season 11 Player Auction, Dabang Delhi K.C.’s purchase of all-rounder Ashish for the new campaign will certainly strengthen their team on both ends of the mat. An experienced campaigner, Ashish has managed 184 raid points and 64 tackle points in his PKL career so far. His best PKL campaign was in Season 9 when he managed 97 raid points and 23 tackle points for U Mumba. Now part of a strong Dabang Delhi K.C., Ashish will be eyeing his best-ever PKL campaign in Pro Kabaddi Season 11.
