The Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 player auction saw some intense bidding wars as all 12 franchises looked to fine-tune their squads ahead of the new campaign. Many teams went all out at the auction table to secure the services of key players, with as many as eight talents crossing the crore mark. With that in mind, here’s a look at the most expensive raiders in Pro Kabaddi League Season 11:

Sachin | Tamil Thalaivas | INR 2.15 crore

The most expensive player at the Season 11 player auction, Sachin was bought by Tamil Thalaivas for a whopping INR 2.15 crore. No player has scored more than Sachin’s 233 do-or-die raid points in PKL history, and Thalaivas will be hoping that he can add to that tally for them in Season 11. He scored 171 raid points last season and is seventh in the all-time charts for most raid points (952) in league history. Expect Sachin to form a formidable raiding duo with Narender in Season 11 of PKL.

Guman Singh | Gujarat Giants | INR 1.97 crore

Gujarat Giants broke the bank at the Season 11 player auction to secure the services of raider Guman Singh for INR 1.97 crore. A talented raider who scored 163 raid points last season and has 400 raid points overall, Guman Singh will be handed the responsibility of being the lead raider for the Giants in the upcoming season. He, along with Rakesh and Parteek Dahiya, will be entrusted to form a fearsome raiding trident as the Giants look to push for the PKL 11 title.

Maninder Singh | Bengal Warriors | INR 1.15 crore

The ever-consistent Maninder Singh will continue his PKL journey with Bengal Warriors after the Season 7 champions exercised their FBM card to re-sign their skipper for INR 1.15 crore. Second on the all-time charts for most raid points (1,428), Maninder Singh was the captain of Bengal Warriors when they became champions and has also won the title with Jaipur Pink Panthers. He has been with the Warriors since Season 5 and will continue to spearhead their attack in the upcoming campaign.

Ajinkya Pawar | Bengaluru Bulls | INR 1.107 crore

After a solid campaign that saw him score 124 raid points last time around, Ajinkya Pawar was bought by Bengaluru Bulls for INR 1.107 crore. He looks poised to lead the Bulls’ attack in the upcoming season alongside Pardeep Narwal. Ajinkya Pawar, in fact, is likely to have the onus of leading the raid department for Bengaluru Bulls, and his 454 raid points in PKL history suggest that he’s capable of doing so.

Manjeet | U Mumba | INR 80 lakh

An experienced raider who knows how to score points, Manjeet was purchased by U Mumba for INR 80 lakh at the Season 11 player auction. A consistent performer who averages over 100 points in every season in which he’s participated in the PKL, Manjeet will be expected to lead U Mumba's attack from the front in the new campaign. He scored 115 raid points last season and has 633 raid points overall in PKL. Capable of contributing defensively, as his 70 tackle points suggest, Manjeet will have a big role to play on both ends of the mat for the Mumboys in Season 11.
