On a day that saw a number of sublime raiding performances, Patna Pirates captain Pardeep Narwal managed to tower over the rest by fetching a massive 21 points for his team and becoming the first raider to reach 100 points in Season 5.

Pardeep played a captain’s game against Jaipur Pink Panthers and paved the way for his side’s 47-21 victory in Kolkata. In a total of 22 raids, Pardeep was sent to the bench only twice as he picked up points at will against a depleted Jaipur Pink Panthers side, who missed the services of their stand-in captain Jasvir Singh.

After being overshadowed by Maninder Singh in their previous loss to Bengal Warriors, Pardeep looked determined to get winning momentum back on the side of the Pirates. He used his escaping skills to good effect and kept the Jaipur tacklers guessing throughout the game. His massive haul helped Patna Pirates slide past U.P. Yoddha into second place on the Zone B leaderboard.
