Sudhakar M, Shivam Patare made their mark as debutants in PKL 10

Patna Pirates' Sudhakar M and Haryana Steelers' Shivam Patare showed great intent and maturity while playing in their debut Pro Kabaddi campaign last season. The two debutants put their best foot forward in Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 and were among the top raid point scorers for their teams. They were reliable on the mat and frequently produced consistent performances in PKL Season 10. 

With that in mind, let's take a look at how these two debutants performed and played important roles for their teams in PKL Season 10.

Overall:

A key player in the Patna Pirates setup, Sudhakar M was the third highest points scorer for the team in PKL Season 10. Sudkahar chipped in with a total of 105 points in 19 matches. On the other hand, Shivam Patare contributed 120 points in 23 matches and was the second-best scorer for Haryana Steelers in PKL Season 10.

The two debutants lived up to their billing and added firepower to their respective sides by showcasing their potential on the mat. The two emerging raiders also made light work of opposition defenders at times with Sudhakar boasting a not-out percentage of 76.54%, while Shivam had a not-out percentage of 65.33% for the Steelers.

Attack:

PKL 10 saw Sudhakar M's stock continuing to rise with each passing game, making him a reliable asset for the Pirates in the raiding department. From his 179 raid attempts for the Pirates, Sudhakar produced 103 raid points out of which 26 were bonus points. He also scored two Super Raids and achieved three Super 10s in PKL Season 10. 

The other rising raider of the campaign, Shivam Patare also grew in confidence as the season progressed by playing his role for Haryana Steelers to perfection. With 116 raid points from 199 raids, he was the second-best raider for the Steelers last season. He earned 43 bonus points in PKL Season 10 along with three Super Raids and just as many Super 10s.

Defence:

Though these raiders made a name for themselves with their raiding prowess on the mat, both of them also managed to add crucial points in defence. Sudhakar M and Shivam Patare both had a Super Tackle each to their name in PKL Season 10. In total, Sudhakar M had two tackle points to his name, whereas Shivam Patare returned with four tackle points.
