Good support and experienced coaches helped Telugu Titans this season, says CEO Trinadh Reddy

The Telugu Titans have had one of their best seasons in the PKL this year, and still have an outside chance of making it to the Playoffs, after they produced a memorable performance to win against the Puneri Paltan.

However, with the qualification for the PKL Playoffs looking quite difficult for the Telugu Titans, Vijay Malik said, “Looking back at the season, as athletes, there will be ups and downs for us, and some moments did not go our way in the previous games, which didn’t help us. Winning or losing is part of the game.”

Nonetheless, the Telugu Titans can be very proud of their performance in PKL Season 11. After having a few forgettable seasons in recent years, the Telugu Titans took the race for the playoffs down to their last game. Trinadh Reddy, CEO, Telugu Titans, was candid in his response about the change of fortune, saying, “We have had stars in the team in the previous years, but there have been injury concerns and there was also a lack of support for Pawan Sehrawat. This year, in PKL Season 11, our first change was to bring in Krishan Kumar Hooda, and we have also got good support for Pawan with Vijay Malik, Ashish Narwal, Manjeet and the youngsters, who have all done well for us.”

He further explained, “When Pawan was injured for a bit during the season, the whole burden was taken on by Vijay and the team. And with an experienced coach in Krishan Kumar Hooda and the assistant coach Rakesh Kumar, have helped turn things around for us this year.”

Having ended the league stage of the PKL Season 11 with a resounding win, Vijay had a message for the fans. He said, “Our fans are very good and have been nice to us throughout the season with a lot of support coming our way. Even when the team wasn’t doing well, there was constant support and love from the fans.”

“We want to thank all our fans for their unwavering support from the beginning. Whether it was Hyderabad, or Noida or Pune, the Telugu Titans fans have shown up in the stadiums, and we want to thank them whole-heartedly,” said Trinadh Reddy, CEO, Telugu Titans.
